GRIMLOCK began icon life in the form of this alternate (and, in my opinion, more impressive) head design. I do not remember how many icons needed colour reapplication after the monitor fiasco I have mentioned elsewhere, but he was one of them; a pretty rapid assignment in his case. I had fun putting him together, not just because of his fairly uncomplicated design, but also because I like the look. Most of the design history relates to the alternate head, so there is comparatively little to say about the regular (if it can be called that) exterior. Suffice to say, it was based on the alternate design and modified accordingly.
