OPTIMUS PRIME
Autobot Leader LIFE SPAN SEASON ONE - SEASON TWO - THE MOVIE - SEASON THREE - SEASON FOUR THE 2009 EDITION Revised Friday, April 10 As much as I appreciate OPTIMUS PRIME, he was such a thorn in my side in the context of avatar-making. I could never seem to get him to look good AND keep him within almost any pixel format. Especially infuriating are his antennae, the two prongs on his helmet, and those eternally infernal angled faceplates. I produced highly irregular results until I finally gained enough skill to make an icon rendition that I could bear. He may not have been the direct reason for expanding the icon format to suit each character rather than vice versa, but he was most definitely one of them. The plan is to make final versions of every Transformer before 2009 is done -- hopefully I will still feel good about this attempt by the end of the year. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
