HISTORY & CLARIFICATION
This scene, which more or less heads off the final part of the mini-series, is fascinating to me in how there are more SWEEPS and CYCLONI collected together in one shot than I believe can be found anywhere else. The sheer variety here of erroneously assigned colour schemes is probably also unparalleled. It brings to mind a scene from MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE - PART 2, in which SOUNDWAVE assembled a battle line-up consisting of many more REFLECTORs, RUMBLEs, and Seeker jets (like STARSCREAM, SKYWARP, and THUNDERCRACKER) than ever actually existed on Earth, replete with a selection of colours applied to RUMBLE that had nothing to do with him (by the way, those variations can be found elsewhere in the gallery). I get a lot of the same feeling from this one that I do the iteration that was coloured like DIRGE. The colours make him look boorish to me, which is to say it has very limited appeal. Not that appeal had anything to do with the colour choice, but this one falls a little short of being interesting, too.
